Meaghan and Wes – Wedding at the Heard Natural Science Museum in McKinney, TX

Have you ever seen the couples in public that are so happy they seem to be in their own little world?…  Well, then you have probably seen Meaghan and Wes!  These 2 lovebirds are goofy, fun, and most importantly – happy.  They have been together for years, but they still have that spark that seems to ignite each time they touch.  Weddings are an expression of a couple – an expression their style, commitment, and of course, the love they share.  Meaghan and Wes’ wedding was the perfect expression of THEM.  Their invitations were “them”, the venue was “them”, their entire setup was “them!”  There is no better joy to see two people so madly in love, celebrating that love with friends and family.

It is NO secret that I love my dog,  Mazzy…  And that is reason #6,985,126 why Meaghan and I clicked  – She loves her dog, Tucker madly  …  We had met one another through mutual friends, but never had the opportunity to really get to know one another.  That all changed one day at the dog park…  We sat for HOURS making goofy voices for each dog, and smiled as our fur babies played together.  Mazzy and Tucker seemed to click just as much as we did, and I’m so glad that our dogs brought us to this wonderful world of friendship.

Meaghan and Wes, you are fantastic…  Your dog is awesome, both your families are so wonderful, and your love melts my heart…

The Heard Natural Science Museum had a TON of areas outside for photographs, and Romano’s Bakery made some of the most spectacular cupcakes, and an Oldsmobile groom’s cake for Wes!

Shannon & Ross – Wedding at Maple Manor

It was a HOT day, there is no denying that fact…  But, the heat did not matter – it was Shannon and Ross’ big day and they were ecstatic.  When Ben and I arrived at Maple Manor in Dallas we were immediately greeted with the delightful bride.  Shannon was glowing, her excitement beaming with each smile.  In that moment it was clear that this day was going to be amazing.

Shannon and Ross chose to do a First Look and I am so happy they did.  These two are the epitome of heart melting love.  I seriously think they float onto Cloud 9 the moment they touch.  It’s utterly beautiful, and gives me butterflies just thinking about it!

OH BOY!  Gifts! OH BOY!  More gifts! I’m so glad that they decided to do the First Look.  This is really an amazing moment between brides and grooms!  Originally Shannon wanted to do the First Look in Deep Ellum, but our time in the heat would have been too much before the ceremony…  So, we were lucky enough to find an area right next to Maple Manor that had that urban feel to it.  I could feel Shannon’s excitement! And this is one MAJOR reason I love the First Look …  Do you see that smile?!  Do you see how Ross is just enchanted with his beautiful ‘soon-to-be’ wife?  Beautiful. Now some time for portraits! Shannon, you are marvelous. The ceremony is about to start, Shannon peeking over the balcony. Shannon takes a deep breath as she starts to get a little emotional Since Ross and Josh play cards a lot, it was a Poker themed speech – hilarious and heartfelt all in a bundle. Time to get down! YAYYYY!  I love it when our couples ask US to be in pictures! Best way to end your wedding day?…  Jumping on the bed, of course! I got the boot!

Katee & Taylor – Wedding at The Tribute

Katee and Taylor are simply wonderful…  I really don’t know how else to say it!  Both of them are kind, funny, and best of all – crazy about one another.  It never ceases to amaze me when a couple is so happily in love!  Katee heard about us through one of our other client’s mother-in-law.  Words cannot express how thankful I am that Charlotte recommended us!  Katee and Taylor had an outdoor ceremony at the Tribute in The Colony, and even though it was June in Texas – a breeze kept the evening pleasant.

This flower girl was absolutely adorable.  I think she was singing the entire time she walked! Katee’s two uncle’s walked her down the aisle in memory of her father. Ben’s view and my view: CAUGHT!!!  This is Katee’s grandfather…  It is tradition for him to steal a small piece of icing from the cake.  At first my eyes got HUGE when I saw Ben photographing this so easily…  I was then informed that he had permission to do this  …  whew!
So cute that this little girl wanted to help! Last dance, full of love.

          Elizabeth and Brad – Wedding

Elizabeth and Brad are in love.  There is NO doubt about that.  I had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth one evening when I was the featured photographer at Addison Event Center.  I was thrilled when they chose us to be their photographers, and we enjoyed capturing such special moments throughout their big day.  They were married at Custer United Methodist in Plano and their reception was at the fabulous Addison Event Center!

Elizabeth and Brad decided at the last minute that they wanted to do a first look.  It was really special!

            Welcome

Well... If you are here, you stumbled across the blog! Sadly, we spend so much time ensuring our clients have their photos and products quickly, that we rarely update the poor blog. Not to mention having two kiddos keeps us TOO busy! We hope to spend more time on the blog in the next few months. In the meantime, check out our Instagram for new work.
