Errin and Zach – Wedding at Hickory Street Annex – Dallas, TX

Sometimes my brain doesn’t find the right words to perfectly describe a couple in love.  Sometimes my fingers sit blank on the keyboard – searching for analogies, all while the cursor just blinks at me with frustration.  And thinking about Errin and Zach, I find myself at a loss.  How can I describe an adoring gaze?  How to I compliment a tender embrace?  . . . Then I realized, sometimes you can’t just spell out the words …  Sometimes you can just feel it …  And that plays more than true for Errin and Zach.  I melted at each photo because I really, truly, wholeheartedly felt their love radiating from each image.  So, with few words in between the images, I hope your heart melts a little, too.

Errin and Zach shared a modern and organic wedding with their friends and family at the ever amazing Hickory Street Annex .  This venue is by far one of my favorites.  From the windows galore, to the vintage-chic wooden ceilings and concrete floors – I loooove it.  Meredith and her fabulous team of Significant Events of Texas were incredible.  Every detail, every inch of the venue was just marvellous.  A very special Thank You to Michelle of Michelle Connolly Photography for being an awesome 3rd shooter!

Here are some of the highlights from their big day:

And the countdown to ceremony begins… I could have photographed these lovely ladies all day long!  I mean look at them!! Yes, boys will be boys. Errin, Look at your hubby all “GQ”We had to walk across the street, and some of the guys dragged their feet…  to get them to move a little faster, I told them they would be taking a picture with a pretty blonde woman?!”  hehehe WOW.  Need I say more?! Zach catches the first glimpse of his soon-to-be-wife…  His eyes never left her from the moment she turned the corner! Hickory Street Annex provides such and amazing backdrop for the modern couple. All of the amazing details! Some time to be artsy 🙂 Justin Cash played an acoustic version of “Green Eyes” by Coldplay…  I had to keep my eyes behind my camera to keep from tearing up!  It was BEAUTIFUL. Mmmmm.  Cake. Father Daughter Dance / Mother Son Dance Gooooood times at the reception.  This crowd was a FUN bunch –  From singing, dancing and lifting Errin up in her chair!  Glen Roush kept the party bumpin’ ! Some girls are in it to win it! 🙂 BUBBLES AND A ROLLS ROYCE!!!!  http://www.bluediamondlimos.net/ Congratulations Errin and Zach.  Thank you so much for having us along to capture all the fun.  A love like yours is the reason I yearn to push the shutter!

Samantha and Cole – Wedding at Victory Arts Center Ft. Worth, TX

I know I have mentioned before that I am a HUGE believer in fate, karma and all the stars aligning. I have been blessed many times by clients’ finding me through a way that I truly feel was fate… Samantha is a prime example of destiny lending a hand to our relationship of bride + photographer. (You will remember Samantha from her bridal session)…

When I met with Samantha she walked in Starbucks with confidence, I knew immediately she was the girl I had traded excited emails with. The cause for the excitement – she was getting married at the EXACT same place Ben and I were married at a mere year ago. We talked about her vision for her wedding, and their wedding day was beautiful. Every detail was beautiful and modern with an organic flair. Here are some of our favorites from the day.

        The Beautiful Details

        And the doors open .  . .

I love the look on Samantha’s Face…  She took a deep breath at the first sight of her soon-to-be husband

Victory Arts Center in Fort Worth is BEAUTIFUL…  It brought back SO many memories from our wedding!

        Happy parents!

Some fun with the wedding party

This was too funny…  Samantha decided to play a little dirty…  She pulls Cole in close for some cake payback.

Dancing fun to the chicken dance!

        VICTORY!!!!!

A touching moment for Samantha’s parents.

        last dance…

        CONGRATULATIONS YOU TWO!!!!

Well... If you are here, you stumbled across the blog! Sadly, we spend so much time ensuring our clients have their photos and products quickly, that we rarely update the poor blog. Not to mention having two kiddos keeps us TOO busy! We hope to spend more time on the blog in the next few months. In the meantime, check out our Instagram for new work.
