Tiffany and Ryan – Engagement Photos at American Airlines Center and Dallas Baptist University

Tiffany and Ryan are possibly some of the sweetest people I have ever met! And I absolutely adore their story…
Tiffany and Ryan dated in high school, but after a break up they parted ways and separated their hearts. But the thing about true love, is that you cannot separate what is meant to be. Years pass by, and in the midst of a Co-Ed softball game, Fate through a curve ball and reunited these two. Next March, Tiffany and Ryan will vow their deep and undeniable love for one another – and vow to always be together.

We had such a great time photographing their engagement portraits! As avid Hockey and Basketball fans, we started their engagement session at the American Airlines Center, and then made our way to the beautiful campus of Dallas Baptist University.

Erin and Mitch – Engagement photos in a theater and at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve

Ben and I had the pleasure of meeting Erin at the Dallas Bridal Show back in January, and I was thrilled when we got to meet her and her Mom at Starbucks on a chilly afternoon. We chatted about their wedding, and as we all shared fun ideas for the big day, Erin had a smile from ear to ear, and her Mom had happy tears in her eyes… It is moments like that when I really have to pinch myself. I get to share in such an important and special moment in a couple’s life – the beginning of their lives together.

Erin is a theater teacher and she mentioned shooting their engagement portraits in a theater! We were able to play with lights, props, curtains, and had the entire theater to ourselves. After that, we made our way to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve to end their photo shoot. As we were driving, a cold front was on its way and made the most amazing sky for us to use as our backdrop.

Rebekah and John – Wedding at Solitude Station in Copper Mountain, Colorado

Texas Summers are H-O-T, but this past Summer in Texas was almost unbearable… The “Heat Wave of 2011” broke records and temperature gauges. Needless to say, Ben and I were counting down the days that we would make our way to Copper Mountain Colorado to photograph Rebekah and John’s wedding on top of a mountain at Solitude Station in Copper Mountain, Colorado!

This wedding was so amazing, not just because we traveled to Colorado, or because it was only 68 degrees – But because this incredible couple was vowing their eternal love in front of friends and family.

Rebekah and John – THANK YOU – from the bottom of our hearts. Sharing in such a special moment of your lives together was the highlight of our year, and we are excited for all the adventures life holds for you two!
